Fun with the camera

Here's a new picture of Jill and Molly (2 sweethearts), Scotty in black & white, and then Alex's family.

Hi!

So good to hear from you, Niels! Have a great trip and tell us all about it when you get back. The time away will be refreshing -nothing like the north woods to ground a person. I love that picture!

Well, as you can see it didn't quite work this time either! Maybe I'm just not smart enough - no need to answer! I'll try to add the picture again here.

Hi!
Just thought I’d wish you all a great summer. School was out Friday June 23. As usual this spring has been hard “fighting” for whatever classes we want next year. I hoped I would not have to teach 7. grade history, but unfortunately I have to. The Ministry of Education seems to have entered a contest about making the most changes in the shortest possible time. We are the ones who have to cope and carry out the decisions however stupid they are!
I usually work 3-4 days extra at the library, but last week Craig Beckner from Kremmling and his wife Gloria were here. She has relatives in Germany and had been visiting them. It was so great to see him again. We have not met since the summer of 1982 when Teri, Jack and I had breakfast with him in Spanish Fork (I think), Utah on our way to Nevada.

In Sunday’s paper there was a picture and a short article from “The Summit Daily News” about a woman from California (Gracie Sorbello) who is crossing the United States on a one-wheeled bicycle (I am sure it has an other name, but I have not been able to find it). If she makes it, she will be the first woman to do so, and she will also set another record; she’ll be the first to do so barefoot! The picture seems to be taken right between the house and Plandell’s place looking south-southeast. If it’s not there – but I do think it is - it is right after we have turned off highway 9 and within 200 yards of Green Mountain looking south.

I am planning on going to Sweden Sunday or Monday. I have been busy cleaning my trailer and packing whatever I need to bring. It has been very hot here since Friday – about 90 degrees and very humid. I can’t wait to get to Sweden to cool off a little bit.
I'll try if can send you a picture this time. It did not work out last time! I did not take this picture – wish I had. I hope to make it up to where it was taken. It is Store Sjöfallet National Park in Northern Sweden.

You all take care and have a great summer!

Love
Niels
