Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
What a great idea you got here Teri, and thanks for including me.
It seems you have all had a nice Christmas - I'm glad! This has been a quiet Christmas. No white Christmas this year either, but then it came on the 27. and most of the country was snowed in yesterday. Therefore my father was unable to celebrate his 82. birthday with the rest of the family. We have about a foot of snow and it has been pretty windy so in many areas there are big snowdrifts. More snow is expected.Tomorrow night will be quiet here, I hope!! I stopped celebrating New Year's several years ago. Around here many people go crazy the last night of the year. Many people spend fortunes on different kinds of firecrackers and fireworks, a lot even go to Germany to get the illegal stuff and each year people are seriously injured. Not my way of celebrating!
I tried to include a picture from Colorado in October, but couldn't get it to work!
It was so good to see almost all of you then. I sure hope it doesn't take me 8 years before I can make it back again.
Happy New Year and have a great 2006.
Love
Niels

Merry Christmas from Jack & Teri

Hi Everyone! It's fun to see all the new postings. Thank you for taking the time to try this. We've had a quiet Christmas this year, so nice to just relax with family. Scott is home from college at Powell and Alex and Jill came to visit from Greeley. He is going to school there and Jill is managing a portrait studio. We had fun baking our potica together, which is a family tradition. It's a special holiday bread that you roll out as thin as possible and roll up with a nut filling. We eat it on Christmas morning. Yum! What are your favorite holiday treats or traditions? Warmest wishes, Teresa
I just discovered that if you double click the pictures they open up bigger! Cool.

Hi. I thought I'd try this out. Jill, Carol and I just got home from the movie, Narnia. It was good. More later.

A visit from Niels

I thought I'd post a couple of pics to get things started. Here are Pearl and Niels on her deck this fall. This is Linda and Gary's beautiful little house in Littleton, not too far from Mom and Jill's home.

Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone. I set this up as a family blog so we can share pics and thoughts. It should be fun over the holidays. Let the posting begin!
